Research Interest
His teaching and research activities are mainly devoted to political communication. I am more specifically interested in political journalism, the political uses of the web and social media, the hybridization of genres between information and entertainment, and electoral campaigns which, by definition, are communication operations. The quality of the information and the effectiveness of its transmission to the citizens are the main concerns that motivate my research on these subjects. I work on these projects in solo or in team with colleagues from Quebec, Canada and Europe. I am also very interested in the research methodology, especially the survey and content analysis techniques that I use in my research. I am a researcher at the Research Group on Political Communication and at the Center for the Study of Democratic Citizenship, two research structures that allow master's and doctoral students who are part of it to meet, discuss their projects and to receive support from professors who are members. I am the co-organizer of the CÉCD Student Conference which is held every year.
