Pierre Chaurand and his team develop methodologies for the analysis of the molecular content of thin tissue sections by mass spectrometry. Systematic analyzes allow the reconstruction of molecular images (proteins, peptides, lipids, metabolites, etc.) that can be directly correlated to the histology of the sections and to the state of health of the biopsies.
