Research Interest

As part of his research projects, Daniel Pearl explores interdisciplinary design issues in both theoretical and practical aspects. His studies are situated in a rather conventional interdisciplinary perspective, particularly on the intersection of the fields of building science and architectural design, in order to understand how these two disciplines overlap, from the conceptual stage. to that of construction. However, as a deep understanding is needed, both of the ecological footprint and the ins and outs of the urban development of a sustainable neighborhood, interdisciplinarity must extend beyond the fields of engineering and technology. architecture. This research is directly related to his practice at EGU, an experimental architecture agency that he co-founded in 1992. In parallel with this research, he is working on the writing of the results emanating from the interdisciplinary national forum "Greening the diploma" .
