Research Interest
Danielle Dagenais specializes in the art of gardening and ecology, plant identification, plant engineering and horticulture. She is particularly interested in biodiversity, human-plant relationships, the ecological discourse of landscape architecture and the concept of urban nature. His most recent research focuses on plant and technical design and landscape integration of phytotechnologies (green roofs, vegetated rainwater management systems, etc.), notably through a project funded by SSHRC (2009- 2012) on the urban settlement of extensive green roofs in the Canadian context (social acceptability, design criteria and implementation strategies).
