Biography
Danielle Labbé has a Postdoctoral fellowship in the Large-Scale Collaborative Research Project "Global Suburbanism: Governance, Land and Infrastructure in the 21st Century" at the CITY Institute, York University, Toronto. 2011-2012 PhD in Urban Planning, University of British Columbia, Vancouver. Title of the thesis: On the Edge: A History of Livelihood and Land Politics on the Margins of Ha Noi. Research Interest
Danielle Labbé specializes in urbanization issues and urban planning practices in developing countries. She is particularly interested in urban design, urban informality, the management of urban and architectural heritage in this context, and the circulation of urban models and the appropriation of housing.
