de Moura Sobral Luis is a Professor Emeritus Holder of the Chair on Portuguese Culture at University of Montreal, Department of Art History and Film Studies, Canada.
Research Interest
He is interested in constitution and operation of the large Baroque decorative ensembles (churches, cloisters, palaces, gardens), paying particular attention to the theme of the iconographic cycle (series of works of art arranged according to ideological programs or precise narratives).
