Research Interest
Current research projects are related to family violence and focus on the relationship between violence against women and child abuse. Three types of studies are in progress. The first is the relationship between the rationale for, or conception of, family violence and the experience of being a victim or abuser. Two forms of violence are identified: violence against women and violence against children. Special attention is given to violence of a psychological nature. The second group of studies focuses on children exposed to domestic violence. Finally, the last type of research is related to intervention with children exposed to domestic violence.
