Franck Scherrer is a  Professor &  director:    Director of the School of Urban Planning and Landscape Architecture  Academic Director of the EDDEC Institute  Member of the Sustainable Mobility Observatory  Professional implications   President of the Association for the Promotion of Teaching and Research in Planning and Urban Planning (APERAU International)  Vice-President of APERAU International from 2007 to 2014 President of the APERAU France-Europe from 2007 to 2010 Creator and organizer of the Prize for Thesis on the City APERAU / CERTU / PUCA Member of the Orientation Committee of CERTU (CODOR) from 2004 to 2010 Member of the Scientific Council of the Urban Planning Agency of Greater Lyon from 2008 to 2010 Member of the Scientific Committee of the Scientific Interest Group on Participatory Democracy Visiting Professor at the Urban Planning Institute of the Lebanese University Visiting Professor at the College of Architecture and Urban Planning of Shanghai Tongji University     Education:  Franck Scherrer taught first at the Institute of Urban Planning of Paris and the National School of Public Works of the State (France) before becoming a lecturer and professor at the Institute of Urban Planning of Lyon (University Lyon 2), of which he was the director before arriving at the University of Montreal in 2010. Research Interest
