Biography
Gonzalo Lizarralde is Responsible for the theme "Ethics and practice (s) of the architectural project" of the master's degree in architecture Director of the IF Research Group - grif Director of the University Observatory of Vulnerability, Resilience and Sustainable Reconstruction (Sustainable Work) Dr. Lizarralde is a founding member of the i-Rec network (information and research for reconstruction). He is also a member of the International Building Council (CIB), the Project Management Institute (Montreal Chapter) and the Professional Order of Architects of Colombia. Education: ARC6813 Workshop specialized in editing and management of architectural projects AME6043 Planning and Development of Development Projects ARC6814 Final project AME6911 Directed work (TD) in editing and management of development projects AME6905 Internship report in editing and management of development projects Dr. Lizarralde is also the director of the Weekly Research Seminar in Management of Development Projects, IF - Grif Research Group, and he supervises students in the Master of Planning and the Ph.D. in Planning. Dr. Lizarralde has also taught at the Institute of Urban Planning at the University of Montreal, McGill University, University of Cape Town (South Africa) and Javeriana University (Colombia). He is a regular guest lecturer at various universities. His Areas of expertise are Participatory approach, Architecture, Architectural design, Ethics in planning, Project management, Social housing, Reconstruction following natural disasters, Social responsibility, Urbanization and development in developing countries and Urban vulnerability.
Research Interest
Gonzalo Lizarralde is director of the grif - the IF Research Group. The grif studies processes related to the development of development projects in general - and architecture in particular. In this context, his research focuses on the planning, assembly, management and evaluation of development projects. His research interests include housing and low-income housing solutions, performance and evaluation of construction projects, and the process of sustainable reconstruction following natural disasters, particularly in developing countries.
