Research Interest
Baris Kaymak is Professor of Economics and the Chair of the JW McConnell Family Foundation in American Studies. He is a member of CIREQ (Interuniversity Research Center for Quantitative Economics) and serves on the editorial board of the Canadian Journal of Economics. Baris earned his Ph.D. in Economics at the University of Rochester. In general, his fields of expertise are macroeconomics and labor economics. In particular, he is interested in issues related to the dynamics and distribution of wages, the causes and consequences of economic inequality from the macroeconomic perspective. Areas of expertise: Macroeconomics & Labor economics.
