Biography

Research Interest
His research focuses on the social, cultural and symbolic aspects of technoscience. My dissertation on cybernetics and the information paradigm has led me to focus on the development of new information technologies and biotechnologies. My studies deal with epistemological, cultural, social and ethical issues. In addition to conducting a research program on the imagination of nanotechnology, I currently focus my work in the field of biomedical advances, specifically on the social issues of regenerative medicine and nanomedicine. Areas of expertise: Socio-cultural aspects of technosciences, Contemporary theory, Sociology of the body, biomedicine, Biotechnology and society & bioeconomy.
