Research Interest
Her research interests include three areas of psychology: social psychology, developmental psychology and clinical psychology. Indeed, my interests are rooted in the theory of self-determination (Deci & Ryan, 1980, 2000, 2010) which assumes that every person has three essential psychological needs for optimal fulfillment, including competence, social affiliation, and self-determination (also called "autonomy"). This theory deals as much with normative (social and developmental psychology) as with pathological functioning, and their consequences can be examined in a systemic context.
