Research Interest
The research conducted by Manon Guité for over ten years focuses on three convergent themes: (1) digital strategies in support of learning and practice of architectural project design, (2) digital environments learning and project design; and finally (3) knowledge management and project memory. The development of digital strategies in support of the design of architectural projects and in particular the creative and reflective approach of the professional and the student is the main theme of the research in which Manon Guité participates or directs. The significant evolution of digital technologies in architecture in no way reduces the need to approach their appropriation from the point of view of cognitive dimensions. The preferred approach, whether it is modeling methods or the digital learning and design environment, is centered on the user, the task and the cognitive processes that contribute to the design dynamics of the design. projects. His most recent research is conducted with the collaboration of researchers from the fields of architecture and educational sciences.
