Biography

Temy Tidafi is an  Associate Professor. Education:    AME 6605 Modeling Methodology ARC 6813D Advanced Architecture Workshop 2 ARC 3011A Workshops forms and functions   Supervision of students at M.Sc.A. and Ph.D. as well as postdoctoral trainees Temy Tidafi teaches primarily at the graduate level. It is a way for him to transfer the results of his research work to future university researchers. He also coordinates the Integrated Design and Digital Exploration option, formerly Computer-Assisted Design and Modeling (CMAO) of the Professional Master's Program in Architecture. Areas of expertise are  Digital Learning Environment Figuration and representation 2D and 3D modeling Architecture project Creation process.

Research Interest

Director and co-founder of the Research Group in Computer-Aided Design ( GRCAO ), Temy Tidafi has been conducting research for several years in process modeling. These affect architecture, urbanism, industrial design and archeology. The reflection focuses mainly on the methods of design and / or work for a better definition and integration of digital means according to various purposes (architectural reconstructions, methods of design, architectural figuration, complex systems). As results, it is among others prototypes of new digital means that are proposed. In recognition of the work of his research group, he was entrusted with the presidency for the organization of one of the most important international conferences in the field, the Computer Aided Architectural Future Design Conference (CAAD future), which took place in Montreal in June 2009. He is now Project Leader of the Network of Centers of Excellence of Canada, the "GRAND".
