Research Interest
Together with his colleagues at the Canadian Center for German and European Studies, He reread classic authors of German sociology in the light of current issues. Two objects are at the center of my current thinking: contemporary Germany and sociological writing. It is in the context of a concrete project, a relational ethnography, written in the form of serials, of the daily life of residents of a medium-sized city of post-communist Germany that he articulate them. What are the soap operas? Short texts, inspired by the writings of Siegfried Kracauer (1899-1966), which combine sociology, literature and reportage.
