Biography
Murshed Chowdhury received his PhD in Economics from the University of Manitoba. His research and teaching interests include open economy macroeconomics, development economics, economic growth, financial flows to the developing countries, and information and communication technology. He has published in journals including the Journal of Economic Issues, Renewable and Sustainable Energy Reviews, Journal of Knowledge Economy, Review of Economics. Prior joining to the University of New Brunswick, he taught at Algoma University, King’s University College at Western University, University of Manitoba, Chongqing Technology and Business University, and Shah Jalal University of Science and Technology. He also served as a consultant for United Nations Development Programme
