Biography
Dr. Ted Needham joined the Faculty in 1987. Originally from Utah, he grew up with a love and appreciation of the forest from fishing, hunting, and camping first in the Rockies and then in the Piedmont and Allegany Mountain regions of the southern US. He carried his passion for the outdoors to his academic studies where he obtained a BSc in Forest Management, a MSc in Forest Photogrammetry, and a PhD in Forest Soils and Silviculture from Virginia Tech. Prior to moving to New Brunswick, he worked for a piano parts manufacturer in process improvement.
