Biography
Dr. Doug Coyle joined the School full time in September 2004. Previously he has been based at the Ottawa Health Research Institute and the Centre for Health economics at the University of York. He is a health economist and obtained his PhD from Brunel University. His thesis explored issues related to handling uncertainty and variability with respect to decision making in health care. Doug's research is of a multi-disciplinary nature and has led to collaboration with numerous researchers. He is a member of the Scientific Advisory Panel of the Canadian Agency for Drugs and Technologies in Health and is a member of the Ontario Ministry of Health and Long Term Care's Committee to Evaluate Drugs.
