Biography
Anders Jensen Knudby is working as an Associate Professor in department of Geography, Environment and Geomatics, at University of Ottawa, Canada. He has two primary and distinct research interests. The first is technical remote sensing of shallow water areas, which poses numerous challenges for information retrieval from primarily satellite data. The second is the nexus of extreme heat events, human health, and the urban environment. As a remote sensing specialist, he also get involved in other projects that use remote sensing to produce spatial information needed to address a wide range of research questions in geography, ecology, archaeology, and environmental health.
