Biography
Dr. Longtin is working as a Professor in Department of Physics, at University of Ottawa, Canada. His research interests are in nonlinear dynamics, stochastic dynamics, biological physics and mathematical biology. The main focus of his research is on theoretical and computational studies of the nervous system. The long-term goals of his research are to understand how neurons and other biological units self-organize and perform computations, and what links cellular biophysics and biological complexity. He is the author of many articles published in several reputed journals.
