Biography
Dr. Joós is working as a Professor in Department of Physics, at University of Ottawa, Canada. He does theoretical research on soft materials: (i) the viscosity, shear resistance, and aging of highly entropic inhomogeneous materials near the gel point, or glass transition, and (ii) effect of stress and peptides on the rupture kinetics and permeability of lipid bi-layer membranes. He is the author of many articles published in several reputed journals.
