Biography
Professor Christopher N. Boddy is working as a Professor in the Department of Chemistry and Biomolecular Sciences, at University of Ottawa, Canada. The Boddy lab focuses on harnessing biosynthetic pathways to produce complex molecules. Using synthetic chemistry and biochemistry, they try to determine how microorganisms construct complex biologically active molecules. They then try to take advantage of these biosynthetic pathways to produce complex natural products and their analogs. This provides us with the necessary compounds to develop enzyme inhibitors, study mechanisms of action, or determine structure-activity relationships. He is the author of many articles published in several reputed journals.
