Biography
Dr. Fogg is working as a Professor in department of Chemistry and Biomolecular Sciences. Her research in organometallic chemistry and catalysis focuses on design and discovery of highly active, robust, and selective catalysts, for applications ranging from pharmaceutical synthesis to tissue engineering. A particular focus is on important problems in the rapidly evolving area of olefin metathesis, and highly efficient "tandem" catalysis, in which a single catalyst precursor affects multiple reaction types. A recent area of investigation, which has triggered much industrial and academic interest, centers on development of MALDI mass spectrometry as a tool for structural and mechanistic insight in organometallic chemistry and catalysis. She is the author of many articles published in several reputed journals.
