Dr. Dimitrios Makrakis is currently working as a Associate Professor in the Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science, University of Ottawa, Canada. His research interests includes Wireless and Optical Networks. He is serving as an editorial member and reviewer of several international reputed journals. Dr. Dimitrios Makrakis is the member of many international affiliations. He has successfully completed his Administrative responsibilities. He has authored of many research articles/books related to Wireless and Optical Networks.

Wireless and Optical Networks: Scheduling, Routing, Traffic Engineering, Pervasive Computing, Ad Hoc and Sensor Networks, QoS Supporting Technologies, Security for Wireless Networks, Ultra Wideband Systems and Networks.
