Biography

  Dr. Jackie Dawson is currently working as a Associate Professor in the Department of Geography, Environment and Geomatics, University of Ottawa, Canada. Her research interests includes Arctic economic development, Human dimensions of environmental change, Community-based vulnerability and adaptation, Social-ecological systems, Arctic marine governance and policy, Arctic tourism. She is serving as an editorial member and reviewer of several international reputed journals. Dr. Jackie Dawson is the member of many international affiliations. She has successfully completed her Administrative responsibilities. She has authored of many research articles/books related to Arctic economic development, Human dimensions of environmental change, Community-based vulnerability and adaptation, Social-ecological systems, Arctic marine governance and policy, Arctic tourism.
