Biography
Dr. Mohammadian received his B.Sc. and M.Sc. in Civil Engineering from Sharif University of Technology (Iran) and his Ph.D. in Applied Mathematics from Laval University (Canada). He has several years of consulting experience in numerical modeling of flow and sediment in dam reservoirs, rivers and hydraulic structures. Upon completing his Ph.D. he worked as an NSERC postdoctoral fellow (2006-2007) in Courant Institute of Mathematical Sciences at New York University. He also worked as an NSERC postdoctoral fellow (2007-2008) for Environment Canada, and as a research scientist (2008-2009) in the Department of Earth, Atmosphere and Planetary Sciences at M.I.T.
