Biography
Professor Olivier is working as an Associate Professor in the Department of Earth and Environmental Sciences, at University of Ottawa, Canada. He is interested in the role of fluids and the behaviour of metals in the evolution of magmas, volcanoes and ore deposits. Using petrology, mineralogy and geochemistry, He study ‘extinct but mineralized’ hydrothermal deposits and metasomatized rocks as well as ‘active but barren’ hydrothermal systems. He is the author of many articles published in several reputed journals.
