Biography

Director of Research and Design Enablence Technologies Inc. Light and matter interactions always fascinated Professor Serge, he dedicated much of his research to advance their ability to manipulate light. He began by building blue and ultra-violet laser diodes to boost optical storage capacity. He continued with advancing modeling tools for planar lightwave circuits and is currently melding optics and electronics into large-scale integrated chips. Professor hope that one day they would be able to use the advancement in information storage and transfer to improve quality of life..

  Large-scale planar lightwave circuits, Coherent transmission and detection systems, Layout optimization of complex topological maps, Development of hybrid simulation tools for photonic/electronic circuits.
