Biography
Defence Research and Development Canada's Centre for Operational Research and Analysis as a Visiting Research Fellow. In 2014, the School of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science (EECS), University of Ottawa gave him an opportunity to recruit, co-finance, and co-supervise graduate students as an Adjunct Professor. Furthermore, the University of Ottawa and the Algonquin College had been giving him opportunities to teach undergraduate courses as a Part-time Professor since 2012. Professor Suruz has an interest in pursuing research in the general area of Cyber-Physical Systems. In particular, mobile robot navigation, control systems, mechatronics, multi-agents systems and control, applications of Radio Frequency IDentification Technology (RFID) are his primary areas of interests.
