Biography
Dr. T.-Cossa is working as a Professor in the Department of Physics, at University of Ottawa, Canada. His research is dedicated to the development of novel techniques to manipulate and characterize single molecules using nanoscale devices, and to the translation of discoveries into new tools for the health and biological sciences. The exploration of new approaches to probe the dynamics and the interactions of molecules within nanofluidic environments: (i) represents an important and largely unexplored regime in which interesting new physics can dominate, and (ii) enables quantitative measurements, with exceptional sensitivity, on the structure and behavior of biological molecules. He is the author of many articles published in several reputed journals.
