Biography
Dr. Brigette Krieg is a Métis woman from Prince Albert, Saskatchewan. Dr. Brigette Krieg received her PhD in Social Work from the University of Calgary in 2008. Much of the research she has conducted has been in partnership and collaboration with various community groups in Prince Albert, Saskatchewan including projects examining marginalization of Aboriginal women, the impacts of relative homelessness on Aboriginal single mothers, reproductive health of young Aboriginal girls and Photovoice projects dedicated to giving voice to Aboriginal women and youth.

Aboriginal women's healing, marginalization, housing and homelessness, resiliency, identity and healing, Photovoice, community based research and arts based research.
