Biography
Cory Kulczycki joined the Faculty of Kinesiology and Health Studies in 2013. His academic background includes and Honours Bachelor of Outdoor Recreation, Parks and Tourism and a Bachelor of Natural Science (Lakehead Universtiy), Master of Tourism (University of Otago) and PhD in Physical Education and Recreation (University of Alberta). His research interests lie within recreation, leisure and sport. The central theme of my research is place meaning and user experiences. Currently, his research is focused in two main areas: (a) place meaning and place attachment as experienced through recreation and sport; and (b) the behaviours and motivations of participants and spectators at small-scale sport tourism events.
