Biography
David Cruise Malloy is a Professor of Applied Philosophy in the Faculty of Kinesiology and Health Studies and the Vice President Research at the University of Regina. Dr. Malloy’s research focuses on the influence of religion, ethics, and culture on leadership and administration in health, government, and sport contexts. He is the Principal Researcher of the International Healthcare Ethics Research Team composed of scholars from Australia, China, India, Ireland, Japan, Korea, Nigeria, and Thailand. He is also the Foreign Director of the International Bioethics Research Institute for Shandong Province, China and the Executive Director, Principal Investigator, and Adjunct Professor of the Research Institute for Multiculturalism and Applied Philosophy for Hunan University , China. His research is funded by Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council of Canada, Canadian Institutes for Health Research, WorkSafeBC, and Saskatchewan Health Research Foundation. He is a Fellow of the American Philosophical Practitioners Association in Client and Organisational Counselling.
