Biography
Ian Matheson is an Assistant Professor in Department of Education at University of Regina, Canada.
Research Interest
My research interests are focused on supporting students with exceptionalities in the inclusive classroom. Currently, I am exploring the manifestation, documentation, and interpretation of high-incidence hidden exceptionalities. In addition, building on my doctoral work, I am examining how individuals with learning disabilities in reading comprehension engage with graphic text. Most recently, I have begun a partnership with the Saskatchewan Association for Community Living to examine policy and implementation regarding inclusive education across Saskatchewan public school boards.
