Biography
"Dr. Andrzej Olkowski is currently working as a Professional Research Associate in the Department of Animal and Poultry Science, University of Saskatchewan , Ccanada. His research interests includes focuses on the economies of rural areas and communities, especially the relationship between rural and urban a1. Patho-physiological and biochemical mechanisms leading to heart failure in fast growing broiler chickens, with emphasis on dietary risk factors associated with predisposition of rapidly growing broilers to heart failure. 2. Molecular mechanisms associated with weaknesses of first line of defence mechanisms against pathogens involved in cellulitis in meat type poultry. 3. Pathogenesis of necrotic enteritis, with emphasis on host-pathogen interaction, pathogen mediated cellular and tissue signaling.reas. My empirical work uses population and labour force change as the metrics of rural community health and vitality..
