Biography
Dr. Danielle Zwueste is a board-certified specialist in veterinary neurology whose clinical work focuses on small animals. She is responsible for the neurology clinical service at the Western College of Veterinary Medicine (WCVM) Veterinary Medical Centre. Dr. Zwueste is originally from Alberta and obtained her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from the WCVM in 2012. She completed a small animal clinical internship in Toronto in 2013 and then moved to Davis, California, where she completed a three-year residency in neurology/neurosurgery at the University of California, Davis. She became a Diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine (Neurology) in 2016. Dr. Zwueste returned to the WCVM in 2016 as an assistant professor in the college's Department of Small Animal Clinical Sciences. Her interests include advanced imaging, intracranial disease and feline neurology.
Research Interest
Research interests include MRI and neurosurgery and the diagnosis and management of intracranial disease, including neoplastic and primary inflammatory conditions
