Biography
Mina Rohani is an Assistant Professor of Marketing at the Edwards School of Business at the University of Saskatchewan. Her research interests revolve around service marketing, online public complaining, and consumer behavior (i.e., consumer revenge and forgiveness). Her research concentrates on understanding the effects of asking questions on consumer revenge and reconciliation over time. She has applied longitudinal field experiments to study the effects of different forms and content of questionnaires (i.e., mere-measurement) over time on consumer revenge responses. Mina’s research has been recognized by several prestigious academic conferences (i.e., SERVSIG 2016, AMA 2015 and 2013, Service Frontiers 2015 and 2012, ACR 2013, ACP 2013, and La Londe Conference 2012) and funding agencies (i.e., FRQSC Doctoral Fellowship). She has received several awards and scholarships for the academic excellence and quality of the research (i.e., 22nd Annual AMA SERVSIG doctoral consortium 2015, 21e Siècle Academic Excellence scholarship from HEC Montreal). Mina is the finalist of the worldwide award for the 2016 SERVSIG Best Service Dissertation. Also, her doctoral dissertation has been nominated for the 2015 best thesis award at HEC Montreal. Before her doctoral studies, she has several years of industry work experience as a marketing manager in a high-tech telecommunication industry at Huawei technologies.
