Pierre Lavigne
Regular Professor
Department of Biochemistry
University of Sherbrooke
Canada
Biography
Ph.D. Biophysics (University of Quebec, CAN, 1994) Postdoc. Structural Biology (University of Alberta, CAN, 1999)
Research Interest
Lavigne, is working on the structural pharmacology of transcription factors of Myc / Max / Mad network, StAR protein, pro-Urotensin II and GPCRs (eg angiotensin-II AT1 receptor). He works to understand the mechanistic bases of the function of these proteins at the atomic scale by the use, among other techniques, of the RMN and of the molecular modeling.
