Biography
Dr. Goldstein is the Canada Research Chair in the Psychology of Emerging Adulthood. Her research examines risk and wellness behaviours during emerging adulthood, a critical developmental period that spans ages 18-25. Dr. Goldstein utilizes innovative methods, including mobile technology to examine the influence of distal (early relationships, attachment styles, child maltreatment) and proximal (individual differences in emotion regulation, motives for risk behaviours, mood, interpersonal interaction) factors on the everyday risk and wellness behaviours of emerging adults.
