Biography
Adam Goldenberg, AB (Harvard), JD (Yale), is called to Bars of Ontario and New York. He served as a law clerk to Chief Justice Beverley McLachlin of the Supreme Court of Canada and to Justices James MacPherson, Janet Simmons, and Eleanore Cronk of the Court of Appeal for Ontario. He practices litigation at McCarthy Tétrault LLP, where he acts in corporate and commercial disputes, class actions, and professional liability matters, as well as in criminal and administrative proceedings. He maintains a focus on appeals, and has appeared as counsel at all levels of court, including in the Supreme Court of Canada, the Court of Appeal for Ontario, and the Federal Court of Appeal. He also advises on public policy and regulatory issues at both the provincial and federal levels. His scholarship and commentary on law and public affairs has appeared in the Yale Journal of International Law and the Michigan State International Law Review, as well as in the Globe and Mail, National Post, Toronto Star, Ottawa Citizen, Slate, Maclean’s, Policy Options, and on CBC News: The National and Toronto’s Newstalk 1010.
