Biography

Tony Sinclair is a professor in the Department of Mechanical & Industrial Engineering at the University of Toronto. His research specialty is Ultrasonic Nondestructive Evaluation (NDE), with a focus on image enhancement via signal processing, phased arrays, precise measurement of defect size, ultrasonic transducer design, and characterization of material interfaces. His work involves a combination of experimental and numerical modeling techniques, reported in over 200 journal and conference publications, and technical reports.
