Biography

Brandon Kain, B.A. (Hon.) (Queen’s) 1998, M.A. (Toronto) 1999, LL.B. (Honours) (Toronto), 2003, called to the Bar of Ontario in 2004, partner at the firm of McCarthy Tétrault LLP where he is co-founder of the National Appellate Litigation Group. Mr. Kain’s practice focuses on commercial litigation, class actions and regulatory/administrative law. He has acted in 11 civil appeals before the Supreme Court of Canada, in addition to cases before the Federal, Alberta, British Columbia, Manitoba, Ontario and Saskatchewan courts. Mr. Kain teaches economic torts and advanced contract law, and has published articles in the Advocates’ Quarterly, Alberta Law Review, Annual Review of Civil Litigation, Banking and Finance Law Review, Canadian Bar Review, Canadian Business Law Journal and Supreme Court Law Brandon Kain, B.A. (Hon.)
