Biography
Dr. Chloe Hamza is working as Assistant Professor in the Department of Applied Psychology and Human Development at the University of Toronto.
Research Interest
Dr. Chloe Hamza's research program focuses on the development of mental health concerns in adolescence and emerging adulthood (particularly self-injurious behaviors). A major focus of her research is on identifying developmentally relevant risk and protective factors that predict stability and change in self-injurious behaviors over time. She is also interested in examining developmental processes (e.g., mediating factors), and uses a variety of methodological approaches in her research (e.g., longitudinal, experimental, experience sampling).
