Research Interest
The work of Professor Allman focuses on the social and structural production of risk and well-being, particularly for those considered marginal, vulnerable or peripheral to a society’s core. Interests include the sociology of health and medicine, social equity, global health and new techniques for public health research. Professor Allman enjoys teaching, translating knowledge and building capacity within university and community settings.
