Cross-appointed from Ryerson University's Department of Chemistry and Biology, Dr. Barnett Foster is a molecular biologist. Her research focuses on host-pathogen interactions with particular emphasis on the molecular basis of pathogenesis and the impact of environmental stress on pathogen virulence; pathogenesis of diarrheagenic Escherichia coli.
