Biography
Diana W. Dimmer practices in the area of civil litigation with the City of Toronto. She is one of two Directors of the Litigation Practice Group for the City of Toronto. Diana is involved in a broad range of litigation matters for the City of Toronto, appearing before all levels of courts in Ontario. Prior to joining the City of Toronto, she practised civil litigation with the Toronto firm of Fasken Campbell Godfrey. Diana received her B.A. from York University in 1980, received her LL.B. from Ottawa University in 1983, was called to the Ontario Bar in 1985, and received her LL.M. from Monash University, Australia in 1992. Diana was the recipient of the Harold G. Fox Education Fund Scholarship, Exchange Program at the Middle Temple, London, England, in 1985-1986. Diana has prepared and presented various papers for continuing Legal Education Seminars and is the co-author of the legal text Professional Liability in Canada, published by Carswell. Diana W.
