Dr. Edgar J. Acosta is currently working as a Professor in the Department of Chemical Engineering & Applied Chemistry, University of Toronto , Canada. His research interests includes Colloids and Formulation Engineering. Formulation, characterization, and phase behavior of surfactant-based fluids: micelles, microemulsions, emulsions, foams, dispersions, lung surfactants and liquid crystals. Surfactant-based processes: oil and bitumen extraction, remediation of oil spills, polymers and nanoparticle synthesis, aqueous solvent extraction.. He /she is serving as an editorial member and reviewer of several international reputed journals. Dr. Edgar J. Acosta is the member of many international affiliations. He/ She has successfully completed his Administrative responsibilities. He /she has authored of many research articles/books related to Colloids and Formulation Engineering.
