Biography
Dr Evans' degrees include a Licence -ès -Lettres (Anglais) from the University of Rennes, France, an M.A. in Linguistics (French) from the University of Rochester, N.Y., USA, and a PhD in Medieval Studies from the University of Toronto (Celtic Philology with minors in Paleography and Germanic Philology). Since 2002 she has developed an interest in Women Studies and Cinema Studies and has created courses in these areas. Her publications deal mostly with historical and philological themes concerning Brittany and Celtic countries. She has recently completed an edition of the charters of the Cistercian Abbey of Bégard from its origins to 1476.
