Faiz Daudi

Biography

Dr. Faiz A. Daudi obtained his MD from University of Alberta in Edmonton, Canada in 1985 and completed his FRCSC in general surgery in 1992. His residency training was in Edmonton as well. He has practiced as a "true general surgeon" in a small francophone community in Eastern Ontario 1993 - 1995 and then moved to the Toronto area. Dr. Daudi has been a busy community based surgeon at the William Osler Health Centre and spearheaded the introduction of senior general surgery residents at the Etobicoke General Hospital in 1996. Our first resident came to us as an elective and since then, we have had a steady stream of residents who are now established as successful surgeons. Dr. Daudi has set up an independent colonoscopy clinic and consults on health care matters for CCO and Deloitte Health Care Division. In addition to running a busy endoscopy and general surgery practice, Dr. Daudi has been Chief of Surgery for the 2 campuses of William Osler Health Centre since 2004. Previously he was the Deputy Chief of Surgery from 2000 - 2004 In keeping with our diverse population of the GTA, Dr. Daudi is fluent in English, French, Italian, Hindi and Urdu. He lives in Etobicoke with his wife and 3 children and is a passionate supporter of the local community.
