Fani Nhuch

Biography

Dr. Nhuch completed her Anesthesia specialty training at the University of Miami in Florida. She holds a combined fellowship in Critical Care Medicine and Cardiothoracic Anesthesia from the Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston. She is board certified by the American Board of Anesthesiology in Critical Care Medicine and by the National Board of Echocardiography in Advanced Perioperative Transesophageal Echocardiography. She is also a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians of Canada (FRCPC). She recently joined the cardiac anesthesia group at Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre. She has a special interested and expertise in 3D transesophageal echocardiography, anesthesia for structural heart procedures and point of care ultrasound. She is also leading the implementation of a new Cardiac Fellowship at Sunnybrook based on the Canadian National Curriculum.
